Bring a Bookbag to your local YMCA and give a child a bright beginning!  There's no joining fee for new members when you donate a new bookbag to our back-to-school campaign!

Financial Assistance

The goal of the YMCA of Greensboro is to turn no one away due to inability to pay. Financial Assistance is available through our Open Doors Program. Click here to download an Open Doors Application and Checklist. You may also contact our membership staff for assistance.

Membership Categories

Teen: Age 13-17

College: Any person taking 6 credit hours or more at a 4 year college/university

Young Adult: Age 18-25

Adult: Age 26-59

Senior: Age 60 and over

Two Adult: Any two adults living at the same address

Two Senior: Any two adults living at the same address.  One must be over 60 and the other must be over 18

One Adult w/Dep: Any adult 18+ living at the same address with an unlimited number of dependants under 18, two seniors 60+, full time student, individuals with physical/mental disability, nannies or au pairs.

Two Adults w/Dep: Any two adults 18 + living at the same address with an unlimited number of dependants under 18, two seniors 60+, full time students, individuals with physical/mental disabilities and nannies living in the household.
